Vandaag begint jullie luxe duoreis naar Cyprus. Na aankomst op de luchthaven van Larnaca halen jullie de huurauto op en rijden jullie richting Ayia Napa. Onderweg verschijnen de eerste kustlijnen en baaien al snel in het landschap. Na het inchecken in het Chrysomare Beach Hotel & Resort is er tijd om rustig te landen: een eerste duik in het zwembad, een wandeling langs het strand of een drankje bij zonsondergang. Tag 4 - Naar Pissouri Bay

Pissouri

Na het ontbijt checken jullie uit en rijden jullie naar de zuidwestkust, richting Pissouri. Onderweg is het makkelijk om even te pauzeren in Limassol of bij een traditioneel dorpje voor koffie en een korte wandeling. Zodra Pissouri Bay in beeld komt, merk je het verschil: rustiger, groener en met een meer exclusieve sfeer. Na aankomst in Columbia Beach Resort begint het ontspannen direct, met uitzicht op zee, een duik in het lagunezwembad of een wandeling over het strand. Een sfeervol diner in een van de restaurants maakt de overgang naar deze rustige reisfase helemaal compleet.

Vandaag draait het om ontspannen en genieten van de omgeving van Pissouri. Start de ochtend met een rustige strandwandeling en neem daarna de tijd voor een lange lunch in een taverna aan de baai. Wie zin heeft in een korte uitstap, kan langs de kust rijden voor uitzichtpunten en kleine stranden, zonder dat het een ‘volle’ dag wordt. Terug in het resort lonkt het lagunezwembad en is er alle ruimte voor een spa-behandeling of een moment in de sauna. Tegen de avond zorgen de zonsondergang en een goed glas wijn voor die typische vakantiesfeer.

Een mooie dag om natuur en cultuur te combineren, op een manier die bij het rustige tempo past. Een iconische stop is Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite’s Rock), waar de kustlijn bijzonder fotogeniek is. In de buurt liggen ook charmante plekken zoals Kouklia, met kleine straatjes en historische sfeer. Daarna is het heerlijk om terug te keren naar Pissouri voor een middag aan het zwembad of op het strand. Zo ontstaat een prettige mix van korte uitstapjes en veel ontspanning, precies wat deze tweede reishelft zo comfortabel maakt.

Pissouri

Vandaag komt de luxe duoreis op Cyprus tot een einde. Na het ontbijt checken jullie uit en rijden jullie terug richting de luchthaven van Larnaca om de huurauto in te leveren. Afhankelijk van de vluchttijd is er onderweg soms nog ruimte voor een korte stop, bijvoorbeeld voor een laatste koffiemoment of een uitzichtpunt aan de kust. Op de luchthaven volgen de laatste formaliteiten en daarna de terugvlucht naar huis. Een comfortabele afsluiter, met zon, zee en twee heel verschillende kanten van Cyprus nog vers in het geheugen.

Er zijn een aantal belangrijke voorwaarden waar je aan dient te voldoen bij het boeken en ophalen van een huurauto. Je dient in het bezit te zijn van een fysieke creditcard (VISA of MasterCard met pincode) met geprinte naam van de hoofdbestuurder op de kaart, welke nog minimaal 3 maanden geldig is na je reis.
